San Jose, CA, February 1, 2011 – S2C Inc., a leading rapid SoC/ASIC prototyping solutions provider, announced that Ashok Kulkarni has joined the company as Director of North American Applications Engineering.
S2C is strengthening its US operations to better support North American customers. Ashok is a design verification, emulation and prototyping expert with over 20 years of experience in these fields. Mon-Ren Chene, S2C’s Chairman and CTO said, "We welcome Ashok to the S2C team. His depth of knowledge and experience will help us to contribute to our customers’ success. We are making a serious investment in our US operations by adding senior staff of the caliber of Ashok."
Ashok Kulkarni began his career as an ASIC design engineer. His twenty years experience spans both the semiconductor and EDA industries. He has held various positions in ASIC/FPGA design, applications support, ASIC consulting, and sales and technical marketing. He has worked in various capacities for Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor Graphics, Synplicity and Semi-Custom Logic. Mr. Kulkarni holds an MSEE from Louisiana State University and an MSEE from Bombay University.
