Leading SoC Design Technology Conference to be held in Shanghai and Beijing in May
Shanghai, China – April 19, 2011 –S2C Inc., a leading rapid SoC/ASIC prototyping solutions provider, announced that it has organized the 4th annual SoCIP Conference held on May 24, 2011 in Shanghai and May 26, 2011 in Beijing. The conference combines technical sessions and exhibitor demonstrations to bring the latest in world-wide SoC/ASIC design technology to China. Attendees can gain firsthand knowledge of the latest advances in SoC/ASIC technology by meeting directly with experts from over 15 different companies.
For the forth year in a row, the conference is supported by an impressive list of EDA and IP providers. This year's sponsors include Allegro, Andes Technology, C*Core, CAST, Cosmic Circuits, InPA, IPGoal, Northwest Logic, PerfectVIPs, S2C, SpringSoft, Tensilica, Transwitch, and Vivante. These vendors will both present at the technical sessions and exhibit their products at the exhibition portion of the show.
The conference is a full day conference including demonstrations, technical sessions and a complimentary lunch. The goal of the conference is to educate the Chinese engineering community on the latest advances in SoC/ASIC design technology.
The SoCIP conference is a leading SoC/ASIC design conference in China. The goal of the conference is to serve the SoC design community by providing leading edge technologies and product information that enable first pass success for SoCs and ASICs. Our vision is for a designer to rapidly assemble a SoC prototype by using commercial IP with minimal up-front cost, validate that the function is correct and then find the right Services provider to turn the prototype into real silicon – all this is done to ensure that your SoC investment will give strong returns.
The format of the show is mini trade show with technical sessions augmented with exhibitor booth demos and discussions at the breaks. In 2010, the show expanded to include 3 half day seminars in Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Xi'an, China. The 2011 show will have the 1-day Shanghai and Beijing shows and will expand to include 8 half day seminars in China and Taiwan.
The first SoCIP show was held in 2008. The show continues to grow and expand and has been held annually since then. There were over 300 attendees at the 2010 1-day events in Shanghai and Beijing.
SoCIP is organized by S2C Inc. www.s2cinc.com and sponsored by leading silicon IP and SoC design technologies companies around the world.
TheSoCIP has been completely redone to provide not only information on the SoCIP show and sponsors, but to serve as a portal to the EDA and IP industries. The website includes articles from:Chip Estimate,EDA Confidential,Gabe on EDA,Gary Smith EDA,SoC Central, and TechBites. The goal of this portal is the same goal of the SoCIP conference: to bring the latest in SoC design and IP technology to the China market.
Founded and headquartered in San Jose, California, S2C has been successfully delivering rapid SoC prototyping solutions since 2003. S2C provides:
S2C's value is our singular focus on SoC/ASIC development. Our highly qualified engineering team and customer-focused sales force understands our customers’ SoC development needs. S2C’s unique FPGA-based solution, using our patented TAI IP technology, enables designers to quickly assemble FPGA-based SoC prototypes on S2C FPGA boards. This gives customers an early start on software development, typically the long pole item in development schedules. Combining rapid prototyping methodologies with a comprehensive portfolio of Prototype Ready IP and advanced verification and acceleration solutions, S2C solutions greatly reduces the SoC design cycle.
In addition to the headquarters in San Jose, CA, S2C currently has 4 direct offices located in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen China and HsinChu, Taiwan. S2C is also the organizer of the annual SoCIP seminar and exhibition in China, which brings SoC designers from the Asia-Pacific region together with international silicon IP and SoC solution vendors.
